Ecovita in 2005 was recognized by the Pallatanga City Hall for its ecological contribution to the town
In 2007 Ecovita Camping & Organic Farm was awarded in the category Cities and Villages obtaining the highest score among 44 candidates originating from different countries in 6 categories rated. The award ceremony of the awards took place in Antalya, Turkey, on November 5, 2007 during the 68 Skål World Congress.
The basic criteria for evaluation were based on points such as the contribution to the conservation of nature and cultural heritage, participation and community benefits, educational features, business viability and innovation.
In 2011, the Pallatanga City Hall provides to a general Manager of Ecovita Mr Ricardo Salazar Alvarez a recognition for work to benefit to the Pallatanga community.
